The second version of AS5553 has been released. It has not changed significantly, but there are many changes to help it become more internationally accepted. The working group created for the rewrite was made up of international participants and tasked go through each section and make it relevant to the international community. There have also been small changes made as the group working on the newly released AS6081 document discovered opportunities for improvement while creating the sister document. This new revision of the AS5553 is a great improvement to an already invaluable document.
