Founded in 1887 by Emil Rathenau, AEG (Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft) was a competitor to the US-based, General Electric but soon diversified into working on AC transmission systems. In 1947, AEG Power Solutions established itself anew as a leader in the technological fields of power interfaces to the electrical grid, where it manufactures: AC and DC UPS, battery chargers, rectifier systems, service and maintenance on a 24/7 basis, as well as customized UPS systems meeting customer specifications. They design and provide power supply and power conversion systems for oil & gas operations, power generation, industrial processes, transportation, Data & IT and renewable energy.
